Shortcomings of Air Conditioners in the Market and How AIRTRON help to save energy

Aircon lack “intelligence" and work simply on a mechanical timer and relay while Airtron Retrofits intelligence to the Air Conditioner.

Advance Saving

Aircon do not have a room temperature sensor but rely on the Return Air Temperature which measures the temperature of the warm air leaving the room. This leads to over cooling & wastage especially in the cooler periods.

Additional Sensor

The Airtron has an additional sensor to measure the actual room temperature, just like precision Aircons, thus preventing over cooling & saving substantial electricity.

Temperature intelligence

Aircon's do not measure coil temperature which leads to thermodynamic saturation & wastage. The Airtron measures the actual coil temperature as well as the differential between Room & Coil temperature. Thus offering more savings.

Locality

The Airtron is Programmable for your geographical location and climate and adapts automatically to changes in season and ambient conditions – this substantially contributes to the savings.

Compressor Control

Often customers set a very low temperature on the Aircon remote thus the set temperature Cannot be Achieved but the compressor runs continuously, thus wasting energy. The Airtron cuts off the compressor when it detects over cooling in the evaporation coil, at a coil temperature programmed by you.

Weather intelligence

The Airtron measures the ambient temperature thus minimizing the compressor runtime for your set temperature at any given ambient temperature. As it gets cooler in the evening or in the monsoons/autumn seasons the compressor run time is reduced while maintaining your precise set temperature -so more savings .

The Temperature Lock

A common complaint from many managements is that users tend to bring down the set point on their remote to 17-18°C, and this tends to damage the compressor and leads to increased maintenance costs. The Airtron is able to lock the set point at the required temperature (24°C or 25°C) across all Aircons at the facility and hence offer huge additional savings up to 20 to 30%.
